High School: Comes to Saint Mary’s by way of Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs, CO…while at Fountain Valley School she was a nine-time letter winner for the Danes, three times in lacrosse, field hockey and swimming… at her graduation she was awarded the Newman Athletic Award… she was named the captain of both the lacrosse and field hockey teams…she received several awards in her high school career including: MVP, all-league, most improved and most inspirational. High School: Comes to Saint Mary’s by way of Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, ID… while at Bishop Kelly she was a nine-time letter winner for the Knights…for lacrosse she was a four-time letter winner, starting all four years… she was named team captain in her junior and senior season…in 2009 she was named to the all-star team, as well as being named the 2009 Idaho Player of the Year, and a 2009 First Team US Lacrosse High School All-American…she was named the 2009 Beet Digger Utah Tournament MVP her senior season as well...in her final three seasons at Bishop Kelly she led the team in scoring, notching 134 goals and 63 assists, in her senior season she scored 60 goals and had 29 assists, averaging 4.7 points per game…she led all scorers in league that season…in 2009 she led her team to the 2009 Idaho State Championship and the 2009 Beet Digger Utah Tournament Championship…in 2008 she helped guide her team to a second place finish in state championship…she was also a three-time letter winner in volleyball and a two-time letter winner in basketball…in her senior season in volleyball she was named the team’s offensive player of the year and was an all-conference honorable mention.

Jone Brunelle News

Jone just returned from a quick trip to Rome with her pal Christine and Christine's dad Steve, who is a pilot for United Airlines. They missed seeing the Pope but found plenty of pasta. Jone will be graduating from James Madison University this spring, and is being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa next week.
