These photos have been hanging in our "Brunelle Museum" located in my Dad's art room in the basement, where for many years I had spent hours talking to dad as he worked on designing packages for candy companies in Chicago. I saw the amazing stretch just one generation made in type of lives they led, as I looked at these photos. I saw that my grandfather had the features of an Indian. Dad told me my great-great grandmother was a Cherokee, which seems apparent in this photo. Amazing.

Patti - Barney has been doing a lot of genealogical research over the past few years. He can tell us some more about the Indian connection, and I've asked him to write about it on the My Blog section of his Brunelle Nation page. It may have to wait until the Democratic Convention is over, however.
