Brunelles in Boise Centennial: Sept 1911 - Sept 2011

Alvan Brunelle told the story that in 1911 when he was 24 he and friends hopped a train in northern Idaho, and railed from Spokane to Boise.

There they visited some capital city friends, rode the trolley to the end of Warm Springs Avenue, took a swim at the Natatorium and then Alvan visited Harry Orchard in prison.

He claimed that Orchard, the infamous assassin of Idaho Governor Frank Steunenberg, gave him a pair of cufflinks.  Which he kept and passed on to his sons John and Barney.
